Annual 8th Grade Volleyball Tournament

October 5-7, 2026

  • We will follow an 8 Team Tournament format with seeding for the first round games based on each Team’s won-loss records as of October 1, 2026.
  • All regular season records must be sent in by October 1, 2026.
  • We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
  • All teams will play 3 matches, one per night.
  • We will have matches for 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th, 7th and 8th places on Wednesday, October 7.
  • All games will be played at Gahanna Middle School East, and South’s Gymnasiums. (addressed below)
  • First match each night will start at 5:30pm with second match starting no later than 6:45pm. Warm up time between matches will be allowed.
  • Each coach will select one player from each team for the All Tournament Team.
  • Each team should provide their own scorebook keeper, and a parent volunteer to call the out of bounds.
  • Water refill stations will be available.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer will be at all contests.

At Gahanna Middle School South:

      • 5:30pm 4 vs. 5
      • 6:45pm 2 vs. 7


Tuesday, October 6, 2026 

At Gahanna Middle School East:

      • 5:30pm loser of 1 vs 8, vs loser of 3 vs 6
      • 6:45pm winner of 1 vs 8, vs. winner of 3 vs 6

At Gahanna Middle School South: 

      • 5:30pm loser of 4 vs 5, vs loser of 2 vs 7
      • 6:45pm winner of 4 vs 5, vs winner of 2 vs 7

Wednesday, October 7, 2026

At Gahanna Middle School East: 

      • 5:30pm 3rd and 4th place match
      • 6:45pm 1st and 2nd place match

At Gahanna Middle School South:

      • 5:30pm 7th and 8th place match
