Many thanks to Todd and Jane Friend who donated a golf cart to Gahanna Middle School East for the Cross Country team. 

Their sons Feixiang and Joshua died in a tragic car accident on Feb. 6, 2021.

Feixiang, was a junior at Gahanna Lincoln, had a talent for art and an aspiration to design automobiles one day. He was 17 and played the flute in Gahanna Lincoln High School’s marching band and concert band while his younger brother Joshua, 13, played the clarinet in Gahanna Middle School East’s band. 

Joshua was a seventh grader at Gahanna Middle School East and especially enjoyed his science and math classes. He ran cross country for the first time in the fall and loved it so much he was planning to join the school’s track team in the spring to make sure he was ready to race again in the fall.
